At Enhanced By Liv, I believe everyone deserves to feel confident in themselves. For many people, cosmetic tattooing is more than a cosmetic treatment it can play an important role in restoring confidence following medical conditions or treatments that have resulted in hair loss.
I am proud to be Dunedin's only approved Health New Zealand provider for partially funded and fully funded cosmetic tattooing services. This allows eligible clients to access specialised cosmetic tattooing treatments through Health New Zealand funding, making these life changing treatments more accessible to those who qualify.
Who may be eligible?
Funding may be available for clients experiencing medically related hair loss, including conditions such as alopecia or hair loss resulting from chemotherapy or other qualifying medical circumstances.
Eligibility is determined by Health New Zealand and applicants must meet the relevant funding criteria.

The Process & How to Access Funding
- If you think you may be eligible for funded cosmetic tattooing, the first step is to speak with your GP or medical specialist. They will discuss your eligibility and, if appropriate, provide the necessary medical documentation to support your application.
- Once your eligibility has been confirmed, you are welcome to contact Enhanced By Liv to arrange a consultation.
