I'm Liv, the owner and artist behind Enhanced By Liv. I was born and raised in Dunedin, growing up in a suburb close to Green Island. Being a local means so much to me, and I feel incredibly grateful to have built a business that allows me to care for clients from across Dunedin and beyond.
I've always had a passion for helping people feel confident in themselves. What started as a dream has grown into an award-winning, council-approved home studio specialising in brows, lashes, lips, and cosmetic tattooing. Every treatment I perform is tailored to the individual because I believe everyone deserves results that complement their natural features while making them feel comfortable and confident.
Outside of the studio, you'll usually find me spending time with my family or my animals. I'm a proud dog mum to Marley(6m), my Cavoodle X Toy Poodle, who often makes an appearance on my social media, and I also have three much loved house rabbits Benjamin(3y), Poppy(6y), and Bella(6y). They each have their own personalities and keep life entertaining. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and they bring me just as much happiness as my work does.
I'm someone who genuinely enjoys learning and challenging myself. I regularly invest in advanced education, attend industry conferences, and continue refining my skills so I can provide the highest standard of care for every client who walks through my door.
One of my proudest achievements has been becoming Dunedin's only approved Health New Zealand provider for funded cosmetic tattooing, allowing me to support eligible clients experiencing medically related hair loss.
I was also honoured to receive first place internationally in Ombre & Powder Brow Tattooing, an achievement that reflects the passion and dedication I bring to my work every day.
While I love treating clients, my long term vision reaches beyond the treatment room. I'm passionate about supporting others within the beauty industry, particularly artists who operate from home based studios. My goal is to help change the perception of home salons by showing that they can provide an exceptional client experience, outstanding professionalism, and the highest standards of hygiene, education, and care. I hope to continue sharing my knowledge, mentoring other artists, and helping create a more supportive and collaborative industry where people feel encouraged to grow rather than compete.
Above all, I want Enhanced By Liv to be known for more than beautiful results. I want it to be recognised for genuine client care, professionalism, education, and making every person who walks through my studio door feel welcomed, valued, and more confident than when they arrived.
